This is what I wanted. It’s a lovely shaped dish with thick, weighty glass. The bottom is exactly the right size for a standard block of butter. I love it! The only thing I worry about is hitting the lid on the base when I lift it up, but that’s just me being clumsy!

I’ve wanted this for ages but it was only available in store and I don’t visit that often, so when browsing online, I was happy to see that it’s now available for home delivery! It’s such a good design and holds the butter in place perfectly. It looks stylist on the breakfast table too. It’s quite heavy so it might not be suitable for those with issues grasping / holding on to items but it’s perfect for my needs.
