I purchased 1 large and two small however they do not hold the heat. Do I need to heat the hot pots before use?

I am very pleased with these serving dishes. I put hot water in them for a few minutes to heat them up, before adding the food. I bought two and will use them regularly.

So having read all of the negative comments I felt I needed to make sure people are filling them with very hot water before putting food in!!! The small one are great for peas, sweetcorn, broad beans. It means I can preheat and put food in to keep warm while getting on with the main dish! Very stylish!!

I do love the look. Bought the big and small. The big is not big enough to store a rice dish for a sizeable crowd but good for a curry. The small is very small hence still wondering what to put in it. Haven’t used but hoping it keeps food warm.

I got the small pot, not large enough for larger veg items, I have to cut them up, however, I heat it up with boiling water, and then it does keep veggies hot. Glad I made the purchase.

Really useful just for two of us, for veg they are small. Just put a bit of boiled water in to warm up then dry and place your cooked items in and they stay warm for quite some time
